Mario is a key figure in HBA’s public liability practice, an expert in this space where he has spent over 15 years representing major insurers, self-insurers and large Australian companies in the casualty space, with his focus on public liability claims. He acts on behalf of some of Australia’s largest shopping centre owners and managers, retail security and cleaning providers, and car park operators.

Areas of expertise

Mario has acted for a large range of private corporations, insurers and reinsurers providing advice on complex common law matters, policy interpretation, indemnity, risk management and dual insurance issues. He represents clients’ interests in NSW, QLD and VIC, affording him detailed knowledge of liability, casualty and workers’ compensation legislation in those three states.
